Carrying mountaineering equipment on flights

Your mountaineering equipment consists of a bag with special protection, a pair of poles, one ice axe and a pair of mountaineering boots or shoes. 

  • Total weight shall not exceed 32 kg. 
  • It is prohibited to transport equipment included to the dangerous materials. 
  • Mountaineering equipment transportation service is charged for domestic flights and we carry your mountaineering equipment for 395 TRY.
  • Special baggage fee is applied in international flights. 
  • It is mandatory to make reservation entry. 
  • As some aircraft types in our fleet are not suitable for carrying the cargo of these sizes, do not forget to inform the related personnel during reservation. Equipment not in the appropriate sizes are carried on cargo flights. 
  • It shall be packed in a way to prevent damage.
