As Turkish Airlines, we offer various check-in options. According to your preference, you can check-in via our website or mobile app, through our kiosks at the airport, or at the check-in counters. It is recommended that you arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure for domestic flights and 3 hours before departure for international flights to ensure that you have enough time for baggage and security processes.

Online check-in

By checking-in via the Turkish Airlines mobile application or website, you can save time by making your own seat selection. You can also proceed to the boarding gate without waiting in line, and benefit from the convenience of a mobile boarding pass.

You can check in quickly and easily via our kiosks at the airport, without waiting in line at the counter. Since your boarding pass is printed at the kiosks, you can proceed directly to the boarding gate if you do not need to check baggage. If you have baggage to check, you can deliver it to the baggage counter and then proceed to the boarding gate.

When you fly with an airline other than Turkish Airlines, some additional fees (boarding pass printing fee, etc.) may be incurred. You can check the website of the airline in question for more information.

* On our codeshare flights operated by Ukraine International Airlines, there is a charge for a boarding pass at the counter; you can check in online via the relevant airline’s website to benefit from this service free of charge.

Purchased standard seats can be replaced once in the the 6 hours to 90 minutes flight range. Emergency exit, extra legroom and basinet seats are not interchangable.

Paid/free of charge seat selection is not available after the boarding pass has been printed.

The packages listed in the table, Ecofly, ExtraFly, and PremiumFly, are named as EcoJet, EkstraJet, and KonforJet for AnadoluJet flights. On AnadoluJet flights, extra legroom seats and emergency exit seats are available for PremiumFly (ComfortJet) packages free of charge until up to 90 minutes before the flight.

*Miles&Smiles Elite/Elite Plus members and passengers travelling with the same reservation code (PNR), only on Turkish Airlines flights, have the right to choose the standard seat they wish.

**Domestic and international tickets and award tickets without a package are considered within the scope of the EcoFly package for seat selection, purchase rights and online check-in procedures.
