Turkish Airlines supports you on your adventurous holidays by helping you and your equipment reach your skiing destination.

Carrying skiing/snowboard equipment on flights

One set of skiing equipment consists of one pair of skis, one pair of ski poles, one pair of ski boots and one helmet or one snowboard, a pair of boots and one helmet. Personal belongings shall not be put in ski bag.

  • The weight of one set shall not exceed 23 kg.
  • Skiing equipment transportation service is charged for domestic flight and we carry your 1 skiing equipment for 395 TRY.
  • Skiing equipment shall be packed in a way to prevent damage and carried in their special bag.
  • It is mandatory to make reservation entry.

Valid until December 31, 2024: For international flights, we transport one piece of Skiing equipment (Skiing/Snowboard) within the checked baggage allowance applicable to your ticket. Special fees are applicable for each additional skiing equipment.
