The streets of Vienna are a showcase of elegant Baroque architecture, with stunning buildings standing on almost every corner. The atmosphere of history is thick in the air of Vienna, and there's no better place to start your discovery of the city than Belvedere Palace, once the summer residence of Prince Eugene, and where the Art Nouveau pieces of Gustav Klimt take pride of place. You can also see pieces taken from Ancient Ephesus at the Ephesus Museum, an offshoot of the Kunsthistorisches Museum. As you take in the history, art and culture of the city, you'll hardly know where the time has gone, but it's perhaps music that the city is best known for. While you're here, be sure to enjoy a performance of pieces by one of Vienna's famous composers like Mozart or Johann Strauss. There's plenty of delicious food in Vienna to accompany the beautiful music, so make sure to try all the dishes you can while in the city.
