PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
The city center is 4 km from the airport and you can get there using the red line bus service. You can buy a ticket on the bus or from the shop inside the airport. The service takes takes you directly to the area around the main train station in 7 minutes and takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the historical district of the Tower of Pisa. Alternatively, between 06:00 and 00:00, you can take the Pisa Mover passenger shuttle bus to the train station. Tickets cost €5 and it takes 5 minutes to get from the airport to the train station or 8 minutes to get to the train station in the city center.

TAXI:
If you don’t want to waste time waiting for buses and shuttles, you can get to the city center using the 24 hour taxi service that runs from the airport arrivals area. It costs €20 to get from the airport to the city centre or €10 to get to the train station. Alternatively, you can travel to the city center using the chauffeur-driven car hire service located about 500 m from the arrivals area. There are free shuttle buses to take you to this area.
