Items left behind on our aircraft or in our private passenger lounges are documented. If your misplaced item is found, you can collect it from our airport office or opt for delivery via cargo, assuming the associated costs. In such instances, please reach out to us by completing the baggage issues tracking form and attaching a photo of your item, if possible.
Your baggage's safe arrival at your destination, intact and undamaged, is our priority. However, sometimes baggage tags may become detached or complications may arise due to unfavorable weather conditions or challenges in the baggage handling system. In these situations, you can assist us in resolving the issue promptly by completing the online baggage issues tracking form.
This is the online process information form that must be completed for resolution or compensation in situations where your baggage has arrived after the flight or not arrived at all, or if there are items missing from your baggage.
If you leave the airport without filing a Lost Baggage Report, or if you have already submitted a report and wish to track your baggage, you need to complete an online baggage issues tracking form. To address delayed baggage deliveries, please complete the online baggage issues tracking form within 21 days to seek compensation for any damages and expenses incurred prior to the delivery of your baggage. To report damaged baggage or missing items, please complete the online baggage issues tracking form within seven days.
Along with your passport, boarding pass, and baggage tag, please include various documents such as an item list, photographs, and invoices with the tracking form for each issues application.
Your baggage may be delivered to your address by cargo, or you might need to collect it at the airport, depending on the country's customs regulations. The delivery status of your baggage can be obtained through the contact information given during the application process or by referring to the PIR (Property Irregularity Report).
First five days starting from the non delivery of the baggage you can obtain updates regarding your baggage status by using the station contact number provided in your report. Alternatively, you can monitor the status of your lost baggage by logging in with the reference number (e.g. ISTTK12345) on the baggage issues tracking page through the property irregularity report (PIR). If your lost baggage is located, you will be contacted regarding its delivery.

Typically, the Lost and Found offices are located in the airport’s baggage claim area. For instance, Lost and Found offices are located in the baggage claim lounges of both the domestic and international terminals at Istanbul Airport.
