During the controls at the boarding gate, payment is taken for cabin baggage that does not comply with the rules and is untagged, and it is carried in the cargo hold of the aircraft in which the passenger is traveling. If there is no space in the cargo hold of the flight the passenger is traveling on, this type of cabin baggage, which is considered non-standard, will be sent to the destination on the next available flight. In order to avoid such problems, please check that your cabin baggage complies with the rules and show it to the staff in charge for tagging during check-in.

Delivering the standard cabin baggage during check-in

On flights with a high occupancy rate, in order to facilitate the passengers' settlement in the aircraft and increase their flight comfort, the attendants may request to deliver your standard cabin baggage at check-in or you can hand your standard cabin baggage to the attendants at check-in. By this application, your delivered cabin baggage will be treated as checked baggage and no additional fee will be charged. Please do not forget to take valuable/necessary items in your checked cabin baggage with you.

It is a common practice in the aviation industry to stow the bags accepted as personal items under the seat in order to facilitate and speed up passenger settlement in the aircraft. Therefore, we kindly request to stow your bag under the seat during the flight.

For flights operated with more than one airline (interline), cabin baggage allowances are determined by the operating airline in accordance with IATA rules. We recommend that you check the baggage rules of the related airlines before your travel.
Due to the country rules of some airports, transiting passengers are not allowed to pass through the transit security point with liquids over 100 ml. This also includes duty free products that are in bags and closed. We recommend that you check the practices of the airport where you will transfer before your flights.

According to TSA (Transportation Security Administration) requirements for flights from the USA; one (1) piece of cabin baggage and one (1) personal item per passenger is accepted when passing through TSA security checkpoints at the airport except for the following personal items:

a. Medical aids (such as crutches and wheelchairs)
b. Musical instruments
c. One bag of photographic equipment
d. Duty free items

For this reason, our passengers traveling in Business class on routes departing from the USA are entitled to 2 pieces of cabin baggages; one piece of cabin baggage and one personal item is carried in the cabin and the other cabin baggage is carried under the aircraft as checked baggage free of charge. Please do not forget to deliver your second cabin baggage to our check in counters.

Please do not keep your medicines, passport, valuables and essential food, etc. that you may need during the trip in your cabin baggage given under the aircarft.
