PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
You can get from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Nairobi city center using the bus or passenger shuttle services. The bus service that runs between the airport and city center departs from in front of International Arrivals and charges 80 Kenyan shillings to make the 45 minute journey to the city center. As another alternative to taxis, you can get to the city center on the green and yellow Citi Hoppa passenger shuttle service which also costs 80 Kenyan shillings.

TAXI:
If you don’t want to waste time waiting for buses and shuttles, you can get to the city center using the Kenatco taxi service that operates from in front of Arrivals. The taxis charge a fixed fare of about 1,200–2,000 Kenyan shillings and the journey takes approximately 20–30 minutes. Please keep in mind that there are many unofficial taxis at the airport that should be avoided.
