Sports equipment is divided into two sizes: normal and large.

Hunting, cycling, canoeing, rafting/inflatable boat and surfing are considered oversized sports equipment.

All other sports equipment are considered to be of normal size. Ammunition is subject to a separate fee.

Other sports equipment not listed on our website is also charged separately on our flights.

On Interline flights, the fare levels for zone 5 apply.

For destinations with transit flights in Türkiye and departure and destination airports abroad (excluding the TRNC), the total fare is calculated by adding the one-way fares of both destinations to Türkiye.

For example: If you're travelling from Skopje to New York with normal-sized sports equipment, you'll be charged EUR 140 in total, including EUR 50 for the Skopje to İstanbul flight and EUR 90 for the İstanbul to New York flight.

Note: Passengers who make a stopover outside Türkiye by taking advantage of the 5. traffic right are charged an extra EUR 30 for all sports equipment.
