Almaty airport information

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Almaty city center is 18 km from the airport and you can get there using the number 79 and 3 municipal bus services which depart from the exit of the arrivals area. Tickets can be bought on the bus and cost 80 Kazakhstani tenge. The number 79 bus runs every 6 minutes between 05:00 and 22:30. The number 3 service runs at 45 minute intervals between 22:00 and 06:00. The journey from the airport to the city center takes about 30 minutes.
