Introducing Dubai

In addition to upscale shops and entertainment, Dubai is known for its gorgeous beaches and sunny weather. The city's bustling souks, the legendary Burj El Arab Hotel, the Palm Islands and the Jumeirah Mosque invite visitors into a world where tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously.

Temperatures in Dubai hover around 40 degrees Celsius in the summer — in August, the city’s hottest month, temperatures can reach up to 50 degrees Celsius during the day and 30 at night. The most temperate weather is between October and May, which is also the most ideal time to visit.

Some of Dubai’s highlights are the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building; the Palm Islands, which include a set of artificial islands in the shape of a palm tree; and the vast Dubai Mall. The Jumeirah Mosque, along with the city’s renowned spice and jewelry bazaars, are also worth a visit as is the Miracle Garden, the world's largest flower garden.

The La Mer beachfront entertainment complex offers water park and water sports facilities, shops, kids’ activities, and gourmet dining. The Dubai Museum, inside the Al Fahidi Fort, was built in 1787 and exhibits objects and everyday items related to the region's past livelihoods. At the other end of the spectrum is the 124th floor Burj Khalifa skyscraper, with an observation deck providing extraordinary views of the city.
