How to benefit from the campaign

  • If you don't already have a Miles&Smiles account, create a Miles&Smiles membership. You can also create your membership through our mobile application.
  • Go to the "My Personal Information" section of your Miles&Smiles account and fill in your T.R. identity number.
  • Go to the "Discount Options" section of your Miles&Smiles account and check the “Teacher” field.
  • Log in to your Miles&Smiles membership account before purchasing a ticket.
  • When purchasing tickets, check the “Teacher” option in the "cabin and passenger selection" field at the end of the flight search section on the main page.
  • Once you've selected your flight, you can see the discounted fare at the bottom of the page.
  • If traveling with your spouse and/or children, you can benefit from a discount on the same ticket.


Terms and conditions

  • The offer is valid for Economy and Business Class flight tickets issued between November 07, 2024 – April 30, 2024, with travel dates between November 07, 2024 – April 30, 2024.
  • The campaign is valid for all domestic one-way or round-trip Business Cabin and Economy Cabin flights except F fare class .
  • The campaign is not valif for flightd between March 28, 2025 – April 2, 2025.
  • Within the scope of the campaign, a 20% discount will be applied for teachers and their families working under the Ministry of National Education and for faculty members and their families working in universities affiliated to YÖK.
  • Miles&Smiles membership is mandatory in order to benefit from the campaign. If the ticket purchaser does not have a Miles&Smiles membership, one must be created through the Turkish Airlines website; the Turkish Republic identity number must be entered and the “Teacher” field must be marked in the "My Personal Information" section.
  • After the “Teacher” field is marked in the "My Personal Information" section within the membership, control is provided through the databases of the Ministry of National Education and YÖK, and the teaching information of our teacher passengers can be automatically approved by the system.
  • If any problems are encountered during the recording of teacher information, the information must be approved via the Turkish Airlines feedback form or by submitting teaching documents to a Turkish Airlines sales office.
  • The confirmation of “Teacher” information can take time. The length of the approval process should be taken into consideration when purchasing tickets and planning travel.
  • Passengers whose “Teacher” information is recorded must select “Teacher” as the passenger type during ticket purchase and enter the Miles&Smiles membership number.
  • Passengers with a double surname can benefit from the discount by entering the surname of the family they’re traveling with in the surname section when making the reservation.
  • Except for the teacher passenger, if one of the passengers wants to travel separately from the group, the discount will be void and the non-discounted fare will be used.
  • In case of a difference in the surname of the faculty member/teacher’s spouse and/or children, the teacher or faculty member can benefit from this discount by presenting a document demonstrating that the spouse/children are part of the same family to the sales office. This process can only be performed in sales offices; such processes cannot be performed via online channels.
  • The related promotion is only valid on scheduled flights operated by Turkish Airlines. It is not valid flights to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkish Airlines codeshare flights, and AJet flights.
  • Open tickets are not applicable in this campaign.
  • The discount offered within the scope of the campaign cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • There will be no additional discount on infant fares.
  • The relevant campaign is also valid for domestic connecting flights.
  • Fares offered within the scope of the campaign do not include the taxes and fees.
  • Turkish Airlines reserves the right to take legal action against the related parties found to have contravened any rules.
  • Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change terms and conditions, definitions and other information pertaining to the special offer and to cancel the offer at any time.
