Havaist buses go to many central, easy-to-reach spots, such as Taksim, Beşiktaş, Yenikapı, Bahçeşehir and Kozyatağı. You can also reach the city center from the airport with IETT buses. Taxis take about 30 minutes to reach the city center and cost around 100-110 TL.

Transportation from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to the city center

Located on the Anatolian side, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) also offers different opportunities for reaching the city center. The most preferred option is the airport shuttles which get you to Kadıköy in the Anatolian and Taksim in the European side.

Passengers planning to use the subway should take the bus numbered KM22 operating between the airport and Kartal Subway Station. When arrived at Kartal Station, following the announcements and guidance, it is possible to reach any destination throughout the operating route.

If you prefer to reach the city center directly with a municipal bus, you may get to Kadıköy with the bus numbered E11 or the express bus SG-1. You may also rent a car or take a cab for reaching your destination.
