Turkish Airlines Conventions privileges are offered based on the number of participants and the content of your conference, congress, seminar, symposium, panel, open session, forum, fair and festival organizations.

Sponsorship conditions

  • The event must be covered by one of the categories of conference, congress, seminar, symposium, panel, open session, forum, fair and festival.
  • The event destination must be located at a direct flight point of Turkish Airlines.
  • Applications must be submitted at least 120 days prior to the date of the event.
  • There must a minimum of 50 participants from at least three destinations.

  • The Turkish Conventions service provides support for international organizations having a minimum of 50 participants; and held in any city where the partnership has direct flights, and with flights from at least three departure points. Event organizers can complete the application form and our teams will contact you. In addition to the discount, you can also benefit from support such as free tickets for speakers, lounge access, additional baggage allowance and cabin upgrades, depending on the size of the organization.

What is the timeline for utilizing Turkish Convention services? Read more

  • To benefit from Turkish Convention service, you must submit an application a minimum of four months prior to the event and a maximum of three years prior to the event. Depending on the size of the event, we recommend that you apply well before the four-month minimum.

Can Turkish Airlines be an official airline sponsor for events held outside of Istanbul? Read more

  • Yes, we can be the official airline sponsor for events held in cities to which we offer direct flights.

How does the application process work? Read more

  • First, you must complete and submit the application form. After we receive the application, our teams prepare an exclusive offer according to the size of the event. If you accept the offer, the contract process begins and a promotional code with our product privileges is generated for your participants.

I am planning an event in Türkiye. What type of support does Turkish Airlines offer? Read more

  • During the preparation stage for the event tender, we can provide support with a Letter of Support, an informative presentation regarding our contribution, and visuals describing our services. We can also sign contracts for events taking place within a maximum of three years.

I will attend an event abroad. Can I benefit from the discount with an individual application? Read more

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept individual applications within the scope of Turkish Conventions. However, if an application has been submitted for the relevant event and Turkish Airlines is the Official Airline Sponsor of that event, you can use the promotional code sent to you and purchase a ticket with a discount via our ticketing page.

I am planning a large-scale event and I have a group travelling to the event location from different countries. Can I apply as an organizer? Read more

  • Certainly. Within the framework of Turkish Conventions application conditions, there must be international direct flights from at least three points operated by the Alliance to the event destination, and there must be at least 50 international participants. If your event meets these conditions, you can apply as an organizer.

There are more than 50 participants in my event, but all participants are traveling from the same point. In this case, can I benefit from Turkish Conventions? Read more

  • Unfortunately not. Per Turkish Conventions guidelines, passengers are required to travel from more than one international departure point and via our direct flights. If flights are from a single point, you can make a Group Reservation at advantageous prices by contacting our sales offices.

I am attending an event and I would like to use the event discount. What do I do? Read more

  • Congratulations, and welcome aboard Turkish Airlines! To enjoy the discount, simply enter the event code provided to you into the promo code field, which is on the payment page of the ticket you plan to purchase. According to the scope of our sponsorship, a discount is applied to the net fare for your reservation and taxes are added to this discounted fare.

I am a frequent traveler. Can I use the Turkish Conventions product? Read more

  • Turkish Conventions is specifically designed for events attended by international participants. For this reason, individual travelers cannot benefit from Turkish Conventions unless they have been invited to and are attending an event. However, if you travel frequently under the umbrella of an institution and depending on your reason for travel, you can benefit from Turkish Corporate Club offers. If you travel frequently as an individual, it is possible to benefit from the Miles&Smiles membership program.

As an event participant, I will purchase discounted tickets. I am also a member of Miles&Smiles (or Star Alliance). Can I earn miles from my flight? If so, how do I ensure that they are credited to my account? Read more
