Purchasing Status Miles

If you’d like to upgrade your status or haven't earned the required number of Miles to extend your Miles&Smiles Classic Plus, Elite or Elite Plus status, we have just the feature for you.
Terms and Conditions
 
  • Classic Members can purchase Status Miles when 5,000 Status Miles are required for a status upgrade,
  • Classic Plus Members when 5,000 Status Miles are required for status maintenance and 10,000 Status Miles required for a status upgrade,
  • Elite Members when 10,000 Status Miles are required for status maintenance and a status upgrade,
  • Elite Plus Members when 10,000 Status Miles are required for status maintenance.
  • Classic Plus, Elite and Elite Plus Members who wish to maintain their status can purchase Status Miles at the end of the first status period in order to benefit from the Status Miles sale application. For more information regarding status periods, please visit our status and privileges page.
  • Members who want to upgrade their Miles&Smiles status may purchase Status Miles one time within 12 months of the date they purchased the Status Miles.
  • Purchased Status Miles cannot be returned, and payments for purchased Status Miles cannot be refunded.
  • The sale value of Status Miles is applied as USD 70 including VAT for 1,000 Miles.
  • Status Miles can be purchased in blocks of 1,000 Status Miles.
  • Flights that will take place within the membership period are not taken into consideration even if the tickets have been issued. To obtain Status Miles from flights, the flight must be completed and added to the Member’s account.
  • Purchased Status Miles are subject to the terms and conditions of the Miles&Smiles program.
  • For Status Miles sales performed via the website, the purchased Status Miles are immediately added to the Member’s account.
  • When the purchased Status Miles are added to the Member's account, a notification is sent to the Member via text message (SMS) or e-mail.
