Thanks to this application, you’ll have more time to plan your trip — and you’ll get a refund on the price holding fee after you purchase the ticket. In addition to giving you more time to plan your trip, the Hold the Price fee is refunded after you purchase your tickets.
This service allows passengers to lock their fare until they can confirm their travel dates, thus ensuring advantageous fares during the specified time period. The price-holding fee is refunded upon purchasing the ticket.
After the flight booking steps, select "Hold the price" from the additional services available and specify the holding period. Once you’ve held the fare, you can purchase the ticket via the "My Reservations" section.
Hold the price ensures that your ticket fare remains fixed for the time period you specify. If you haven’t yet finalized travel dates, but you want to keep your advantageous fare, you can purchase the time you need to make a decision.
Price holding option periods range from 1-3 days to 7 days and 15 days, respectively. You can make your decision based on when you’ll finalize your travel itinerary.
If you purchase the price-held ticket before the option period expires, the price-holding fee will be refunded.
If you don’t purchase your ticket before the price-holding period ends, the price-holding fee will not be refunded.
Paid seat selection can be performed after purchasing the ticket.
