Turkish Airlines offers four direct flights in average on a daily basis from Istanbul to Barcelona. Those that are looking for affordable public transportation, you can reach the airport from many spots in the city with the IETT bus services and Havaist. Those interested in using the public transport for reaching Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) generally prefer municipal buses and airport shuttles. Passengers traveling from the European side may get on the public bus numbered SG-2 from Taksim and E-3 from 4th Levent to get to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Those from the Anatolian side may get on the buses numbered E-11 or SG-1 from Kadıköy.
Note that there is no subway line providing direct transport to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). However, you may take the subway to Kartal station and transfer here to the municipal bus numbered KM22 to get to the airport. Another alternative would be the airport shuttles, departing from Taksim, Kadıköy and Yenisahra. Moreover, you may reach the airport from anywhere in the city also via the cabs serving 7/24.
