Turkish Airlines offers two direct flights in average every day from Istanbul to Seoul. Taking off from Istanbul Airport (IST), these flights land at Incheon International Airport (ICN) within nearly 10 hours. No big changes occur on the number of flights all year round; however there may be some differences on the hours of departure from time to time.
Passengers wishing to increase their flight alternatives in this route may also consider the flights operated as connecting over Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL). However, note that the duration of journey in these connecting flights take up to 20 hours in average.

Istanbul Airport (IST) is approximately 35 km from the city and there are plenty of ways for you to reach the airport from the city center. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the city center by taxi and costs around 100 TL. You can travel with Havaist at almost any hour of the day, and these shuttles depart from many places in the city. It is possible to use the buses, AREX trains or cabs to reach the city center, which is 45 kilometers from Incheon Airport (ICN).
Passengers planning to take the express trains for getting to the city center may reach the central station within 40 minutes via the trains operating from the airport. The standard serving trains are another option, which would be more budget friendly. However, the duration of the journey with these trains is much longer, since they stop at 10 stations on their route.
Another option would be the airport shuttles serving in two different concepts as luxury and standard, which reach the center within approximately one to one and a half hours. Apart from the alternatives of public transport, you may also rent a car from the car rental offices in the airport, or take the cabs serving on the way out the terminal building.
