Special discount for our disabled passengers!

We have ended the requirement for our disabled passengers to present documents with every discounted ticket they purchase. Our disabled passengers who are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye and Miles&Smiles members can now benefit from a 20% discount on domestic flight tickets and 25% discount on international flight tickets to and from Türkiye. Our disabled passengers can benefit from the convenience of purchasing discounted tickets through online channels as a Miles&Smiles member immediately.

How can you benefit from discounts on online channels?

You can benefit from the discount by presenting documents to our sales offices.

Accepted documents:

  • Disability identity card obtained from the General Directorate of Disabled and Elderly Services (General Directorate of Disabled and Elderly Services under the Ministry of Family and Social Services)
  • 40% or more disability health board report from full-fledged state hospitals
  • Identity card with the phrase "Disabled"
  • Disability certificate issued by the relevant official authorities of the country of citizenship for passengers who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye

Passengers can also purchase disabled discounted tickets at any time through the Turkish Airlines call center after completing the Miles&Smiles membership process.

Passengers who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye can benefit from the discount by presenting the disability certificate issued by the official authorities in the country of their citizenship to the sales offices.

  • The disability discount is applied at a rate of 20% for domestic flights and 25% for international flights departing from or arriving in Türkiye. The discount is also valid for domestic f It is not valid for international transit flights.
  • The discount offered is applied solely over the base rate. Taxes, duties and special fees are excluded.
  • The discount is valid only in the Economy Class cabin
  • Both the disabled passenger and the accompanying passenger must have M&S accounts. The "Disabled Passenger" type must be verified in the discounted passenger type from the M&S account in order to benefit from the discount. Therefore:
  1. You must be logged into your Miles&Smiles account or create a M&S account,
  2. From the My Personal Information tab, "Discount Types" should be selected on the web page. On the mobile application, "Add Discount Passenger Type" should be selected from the "Passenger Type" field.
  3. Verification is required after selecting the relevant discount type.
  • The discount is valid for disabled passengers who are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye. These passengers are not required to present documents to the call center, the Turkish Airlines website and mobile applications. Documents are required to obtain discounted tickets via other channels.
  • Passengers who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye can benefit from the discount by presenting the disability certificate issued by the official authorities in the country of their citizenship to the sales office.
  • The discount is valid only on Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights. Codeshare (shared) and SPA flights are not covered.
  • Within the scope of the application, in order to benefit from the discount advantage offered to passengers with disabilities for international flights, it is necessary to perform ticketing only with the disabled/accompanying passenger type. A separate booking must be created for different types of passengers travelling together.
  • Promotional fare classes on domestic flights are not covered by the discount.
  • Changes made to tickets purchased with the disabled passenger discount are applied in accordance with the relevant fare class rules for cancellation and refund procedures.
  • The original fare conditions apply to the other applications under the disabled passenger discount.

  • Passengers accompanying disabled passengers who are Turkish citizens and who require an accompanying person can purchase tickets with the same discount rate.
  • Individuals serving as a ‘companion passenger’ for a passenger with disabilities must be ticketed together with the primary passenger.
  • Only disabled passengers who are defined in the Ministry system as "in need of a companion" may benefit from the companion discount.
  • In order to receive the companion discount, it is necessary to proceed by choosing the "Disabled / Companion" passenger type in the passenger selection.
  • Passengers under the age of 18 cannot serve as accompanying/companion passengers.
